#336

Su went to Taiwan and my mother went to China...
And I'm stuck at home. Can't even go to school. Can't go to that extremely long slide in Changi Airport. Can't go to the PIXAR exhibit at the Science Centre.

Feeling very frustrated. All that motivation that I got from the Adam Khoo Workshop disappeared even before the workshop ended -- when my knee dislocated. Now I don't feel like studying XD

But I've been doing homework everyday. Can't run away from it...

Watched KickAss with Su before she left for Taiwan :) Not that I could make it to the cinema. Watched it online. Lagged quite a bit, but still, the movie is kickass. Maybe after Os, should watch it with the gang.

Things I wanna do after Os:

1) Class chalet :)
2) Class Flashmob!!
3) Paint
4) Play an MMORPG (Fantasy Earth Zero, to be specific) with my brother
5) Start work on the game and my manga again
6) Improve digital painting skills
7) If I've recovered enough, play basketball
8) GO TO ISWARAN'S FARM!
9) Meet up with Wen Qian and Rie and Su
10) If possible; Apologise to Jaslyn again.
11) Go to the library at least 3 times a week (Lol nerd >_<)
12) Movie marathon :D
13) Video Game marathon (Mike, we'll need your PS3 for this)
14) Get a PSP and play Kingdom Hearts
15) Await International Release of Final Fantasy Agito and Versus XIII
16) Enrol in some art classes

Now I feel better. XD

My bro got an iPhone. He's been playing games on it the moment he got it. For $700++ dollars...

And Fullmetal Alchemist is ending. After 9 years. I've been reading it for 6.
I've learned quite a lot from this manga.

Hiromu Arakawa is also a brilliant writer and artist. She writes what she wants, and the plot is actually very intelligent. (Not like a certain manga) The characters are in no way cliche or overused, in fact they are very original.

I will mourn FMA's end XD

So while everyone else is slogging away in school, I'm dying of boredom at home. Not a good idea, when the O'levels are so near...
And what happened to all that Adam Khoo workshop motivation!? Dammit... bad time to dislocate a knee...

But the experience was kind of funny and painful at the same time. Depends on how one looks at it.

So, the last day of the Adam Khoo workshop thing. I was soooo looking forward to the closing ceremony...

Really touched that the class gave me a card :))))
Really grateful to Jasmine and Ms Shiyam and the paramedic (all who comforted me when waiting for the ambulance and on the way to NUH) and to Xin Ying (I heard from Jasmine that she wanted to climb in from the other cubicle when she heard me calling for help XDD )

Got quite a lot of people sending me smses on my handphone too, asking if I was ok.
Verlyn and Shirley came over on Friday to visit me, and Su came over on Saturday too.

I am blessed with great friends and awesome classmates.

Going to sleep now...

# 334 Friday, 23rd April 2010.

Today, I nearly got a heart attack.
I'd thought we had the party planned on Saturday, but these terribly awesome people planned otherwise. (Mainly because most of them couldn't make it on Saturday, but instead of just apologising, they did the most amazing thing I've ever experienced in my whole entire life.)

I should have known it was weird Qien and Shirley wanted a lompang to Cashew Heights, and that my mother kept emphasizing where we lived. Michael once asked me the name of the LRT nearest my home, and my mother also asked the same question. Derek said he couldn't make it for CCA today, and Rayner also left. Iswaran and Cao Jian left after a while at the New Media Studio. I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN!!!

But I thought it was on Saturday... XD

So after we dropped off Qien and Shirley, my mother and I went to buy my dinner (which eventually ended up as my brother's dinner...) and then we went home.

The first thing that happened as soon as I opened the door.

Some guy in Commonwealth PE and blue pants jumped up from somewhere near the shoe cabinets, and I thought it was my brother but then realised (My brother's now in NJ) and (Unidentified flying person is wearing an orange wristwatch). Before I could register, more people rushed down the stairs from upstairs, and from the living room, and from the dining room.

I think they were either shouting "Happy Birthday!" or "Surprise!", I don't know, I forgot, I was in shock, OMGWTF THERE ARE STRANGE PEOPLE IN MY HOUSE.

Then I realised it was Derek, Yan Shan, Elfin, Iswaran, Cao Jian, Michael, Kah Leong, Qien, Shirley, Rayner and Verlyn (In order of who I saw first) XDD And then someone plays the guitar (Verlyn) and they start singing the Happy Birthday song.

And after they've finished, they sing it one more time. In that few moments of stepping into the house, I think I must've said "WHAT!?" more than a dozen times.

These people are awesome. These people are so fricking awesome.

And then I saw the TV in the living room. It's always been there. But there was... the Final Fantasy XIII introduction screen on it. And it was moving. And there was a PS3 on the floor of the living room. Later on, I found out that they were desperately asking around school, trying to find someone who had the game and would be willing to lend it to them for one day.

And my mother, my father, my bro, they were all in on this. (I felt bad, because just yesterday I had quarrelled with my mother and brother...) The awesome bunch of people had planned THIS for 3 weeks.

I thought it was a dream, it wasn't. We had KFC delivery for lunch. They even ordered Original because they knew I couldn't tahan spicy food, and bought Pepsi because they knew I belonged to the Pepsi camp instead of the Coke camp. And they said after that, we'd watch the movie Happy Feet.

Another straight-faced white lie!!!! XDDDD We watched a horror movie instead, 'Drag Me to Hell'. It was quite mild, more shock than scary, but I don't like the ending!! XD I prefer a happy ending. But I digress.

After that we played Tekken 6, went to cut the cake, then resumed playing with FFXIII. Though the latter was kind of boring because only one person could play XD But holy crap! FFXIII!!!

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR TODAY!!!!! I'M SERIOUSLY NOT LYING WHEN I SAY IT IS THE BEST BIRTHDAY OF MY LIFE. I'VE NEVER HAD A BIRTHDAY PARTY LIKE THIS BEFORE!!!!

Thank you all so much, for spending so much time and effort on preparing this! Three weeks, I heard. And even my mother helped out on this! Qien and Michael called her to arrange it. And I didn't know she knew about this!

It was a successful surprise birthday party. I don't think I can ever thank you all enough.

And the present too! A PENCILBRUSH!!! (Holy crap what is it?) Thank you all so much, it must have been expensive! >_< And for the card, and the photos of the drawings (that actually I drew XPPP)

I can't stop smiling right now.

WHEN THE BLOODY HECK DID THOUGHT OF THE DAY BECOME SOME KIND OF DAILY MOTIVATIONAL TALK!????

I was looking forward to talking about random crap under the sun Q_Q.

Finally updating my blog.

20th February was Derek's birthday, 14 of us went to Marche to celebrate. Despite the starting being a little bit unpleasant, things went smoothly after everyone started to grab food to eat. Some weird food there XD Bread and butter pudding (I think)? But it was nice! There was a very friendly auntie working there too, she took photos for us after we'd finished eating. Total amounted to $30.30 for EACH person. I didn't have enough money at hand, so Rayner paid for me. But now he doesn't want me to pay him back. Free dinner O_O

They're planning on going to Sakura for Mike's birthday. >_< Rich people... Think they'll let me in for primary school student price?

A lot of homework... and tests next week...
I'm going to go do some A Math after this life update...

However, Sec 4s actually don't have a life.

Am supposed to be studying for chemistry retest, but am not.

Ballroom dancing and social etiquette yesterday.

Social etiquette was laughable. They're imitating western formal culture. I mean, no one in Singapore eats like that, or walks like that. This is Singapore, after all >_< size="2">And I'm not. I still remember in Sec One when doing the compulsory audition for performing arts... LOL i didn't step properly and my foot gave a loud crack sound that made the seniors all gasp. Um, but it wasn't broken.

At least the chacha dance was easy. I didn't know it was going to be that easy O_O

This is probably one of the better camps I've had, since we didn't have to stay overnight. And West Coast Park was epic. And unlike the other Sec 4s' camps, ours was not a study camp. Guess they're preparing us for if we fail our O levels lol

So... National Comics Challenge 2010. It seems they extended it to the Sec 4s as well...
And Singapore Press Holdings wants to interview me... Probably to publicize the competition. I'm scared afdskrgwgjbalhoauigdosighfaggfdsges
But Verlyn advised me to prepare for the basic questions they'll ask, so I'll do my best...

Supposed to be studying for Chemistry retest. I am. In front of the computer.
Studied harder than usual for A Maths. Guess it helps that my mother is helping... I think. I'll do my best for the common test on Monday.

Jin Gen's birthday in one minute!!
