Am supposed to be studying for chemistry retest, but am not.

Ballroom dancing and social etiquette yesterday.

Social etiquette was laughable. They're imitating western formal culture. I mean, no one in Singapore eats like that, or walks like that. This is Singapore, after all >_< We kope tables with tissue paper.

Ballroom dancing was fun though. Chacha. We fooled around alot, especially Derek and Michael. LOL All of a sudden, they'll start doing the square dance...
Laughed alot XD
Got separated from Verlyn, Shirley and Qien though, cos of boy-girl pair-ups... Couldn't see them dance, except for Verlyn, who was dancing with Ms Faith XDD I heard she's quite a good dancer.

And I'm not. I still remember in Sec One when doing the compulsory audition for performing arts... LOL i didn't step properly and my foot gave a loud crack sound that made the seniors all gasp. Um, but it wasn't broken.

At least the chacha dance was easy. I didn't know it was going to be that easy O_O

This is probably one of the better camps I've had, since we didn't have to stay overnight. And West Coast Park was epic. And unlike the other Sec 4s' camps, ours was not a study camp. Guess they're preparing us for if we fail our O levels lol

So... National Comics Challenge 2010. It seems they extended it to the Sec 4s as well...
And Singapore Press Holdings wants to interview me... Probably to publicize the competition. I'm scared afdskrgwgjbalhoauigdosighfaggfdsges
But Verlyn advised me to prepare for the basic questions they'll ask, so I'll do my best...

Supposed to be studying for Chemistry retest. I am. In front of the computer.
Studied harder than usual for A Maths. Guess it helps that my mother is helping... I think. I'll do my best for the common test on Monday.

Nooooo i don't wanna take the chem remastery test.
Because failing a remastery test just qualifies as fail >_<

LOL like my father XDD aww.
he failed his theory test for a lifeguard course, and he was the only one who had to take a retest. he failed that too.

Today is 28th Jan 2010. The second day of our sec 4 level camp. West Coast Park. Went there early to meet Qien, Verlyn and Shirley for breakfast.

I was mashing my scrambled eggs, and Qien gave me a weird look XD Put 4 packets of sugar and 2 creamers into my coffee before it was acceptable to drink LOL After that, we still had time, so we went to play.

Then assembled.

The class was split into two, and we went through 8 stations.
Our first station was scary, but the instructor said she liked us because we really worked together to help each other out XD
Our 2nd was Scramble. Why'd we get such a long word, 'Responsible'? O_o
3rd; flying squirrel. Damn nice, it was like flying.
4th; forgot Blindfold thing, I think.
5th; forgot
6th; some kind of pop quiz about our school's history; Rayner won this station for us XD
7th; XD we 'practiced' for our ballroom dancing...in a way.
8th; i think we were the smartest group.

Our class cheer totally pawned. Well, it was the other half of the class's, but due to class spirit and unity, we did it as a class for some instructors(who cracked up at the ending part).

Then took a bus to Marina Barrage, where we fooled around in the exhibits, fooled around on the roof, fooled around doing reflection.

Fun.

Tomorrow is ballroom dancing...
I should just break a leg now.

Someone just kill me now.
And I mean it as a joke.

But wtf seriously.
...

Feel so depressed and demoralised. And not only because of the talk today. Which was supposed to motivate.

Anyway, FF XIII OST came out. Yay.
The soundtrack is great, but some tunes get a little bit repetitive.
Though they incorporated the battle theme into the main character's theme, which is kind of cool ^_^

The only good thing about the New Year Celebration was the fireworks.

And so, the first day of 2010. I think my parents bought the newspaper today just to see the words "1 January 2010" printed on it.

A new decade. But this year is our O levels.

Oh joy.
What a way to start the decade.

'Tis depressing.

This blog is practically dead. I got tired of the skin, too >_<
Maybe should just change to a default blogger skin...

Today.
Woke up, turned on my computer and realised it couldn't start up.
Felt really frustrated, so I turned on my brother's computer and searched tech help. Couldn't work....

Started watching Gaki no Tsukai 24-hour tag to destress, felt a bit happier. Then watched some Left 4 Dead videos.

Still, I couldn't help but keep thinking about my computer XD If I really can't get it to start up, it means I've lost all my 7 GB of stuff... And my songs, too >_< And my programs and artwork, all gone.

Was also going to back up all that stuff today... Grrr...

Then my mother called. Was really happy to know that she was feeling better (she's currently hospitalised). Gave us quite a scare... We thought it was a relapse or something. She sounded normal today.

Then she told me that the Windows XP installation CD is upstairs. When my brother gets back, I'm gonna try to reinstall the program on my computer. Hope it works. If not, probably gonna be blue for one whole year XDD

At least I'd get some work done.

I gave up on my manga. I feel really burned out.
It seems there really isn't a purpose in my life anymore.

Guess I shouldn't have bitten off more than I can chew. Gonna concentrate on studies.
But maybe once I feel a bit better, I'll finish off the manga. Missed the deadline anyways. So no pressure.
Just that the anthology people are probably pissed off that I didn't keep my word. It's not like I was a regular anyway. It seems even online, it's kind of hard for me to fit in and make friends...

Home alone the whole day.
Maybe I'll try and get A Maths and History homework done by today.

This is great.

Start of the holidays, with barely one and a half months of break from school... and a ton of homework. Not that I'm going to do any anytime soon.

Ways to Study for Social Studies in Sec 4:

Play Assassin's Creed II, 'cos it covers Venice. Learn about the ruling system in Venice, as well as the Doges, and maybe get to assassinate a few.
Read the books first?
Play Final Fantasy XII. :D Probably the only Final Fantasy game that partly deals with politics.

And everything else.
I'm really excited about Sec 4 Social Studies.

As of late, I've become a fan of many games, mostly PS3 ones.

1) Tekken 6
2) Assassin's Creed series
3) Final Fantasy series (especially XII and XIII) .

In no particular order.
Funny thing is, I don't own any of them XD
But Michael owns the first two *_*

The battle theme music for Final Fantasy XIII is awesome.
Masashi Hamazau composed it, as well as the other Final Fantasy XIII songs, and he's awesome too. The work he did for Sigma Harmonica is excellent.
